Future Masters

Will took 4th place in the 59th Annual Future Masters in Dothan, AL this weekend. He posted a three day score of 73-73-68 (having the record low round on the third day). Other winners (from RIGHT to LEFT in photo) are Ollie SchneiderJans 1st (Sophomore in high school!), Blayne Barber 2nd (Central Florida), Scott Strohmeyer 3rd (Alabama), Will 4th, and Trey DelGreco 5th (Vanderbilt). Others in back are the 6th-10th winners.
Hunter also played (the sentence that originated his nickname, "H.A.P." lol) He made the cut with a 76-76 and posted an impressive 69 on the third day to climb up in the rankings.

It was the boy's last year to play in this Junior tournament. They will have one more Junior Tournament this year, the Alabama State Junior in Auburn July 29-31. We will definitely all miss Junior Golf. It has been so much fun for everyone!

This week the golfing family will be heading to an Amateur tournament in Decatur, AL...the Spirit of America Golf Classic.

Will and Hunter both made an impressive showing at last week's State Amateur Championship at Willow Point in Alex City.
They ended up tied for 5th place, after 4 VERY HOT days of golf. Hunter shot 69-69-71-73, and was in the LEAD for a while after the 2nd day. Will posted a 71-70-68-73, and they were the youngest ones to make the cut.
