WHAT A CATCH!

We have a new photographer in the family! Terry took this picture yesterday with his phone while he was fishing at Weiss Lake and I thought it deserved a nice place on the blog.

I'VE BEEN TAGGED

Is that even a word? Anyway, our friend Heidi started it....someone tagged her (meaning she has to tell 5 weird things about herself that nobody knows), then she tagged Mom then Mom tagged me. So here goes:

1.) I really do not like animals. I realize it's a very bad thing, and probably need to go to some sort of therapy about it, but I just don't like them. Any of them.
2.) I have ODD taste in music.....I might listen to a KC and the Sunshine Band "Boogie Shoes", then switch to 50 Cent "Candy Shop", then on to Norah Jones "The Nearness of You."
3.) A few very simple things in life that give me WAY MORE pleasure than they should: watching Will play golf, eating breakfast out, driving a clean car, watching re-runs of Seinfeld or Sex in the City, and packing for a trip.
4.) I would rather be remembered as the girl who always made her family and friends feel special, instead of the girl who made a difference in the world.
5.) And, if I weren't an extremely smart and successful (and humble, lol) real estate broker, I would love to have Kelly Ripa's job with Regis.

Ok, I'm tagging Oat. (Oops, forgot to say that's my nickname for my sister, Amy...for anyone reading who doesn't already know that. And her name for me is Sip.)

SNOW DAY!
This dusting of snow is apparently all it takes to close all the schools in Fort Payne, Alabama! I snapped this photo this morning around 6:00am in my back yard. By the time school WOULD HAVE STARTED, it was basically all gone. We haven't had snow for awhile though, and it was beautiful, especially on the golf course... even though it was just for a short time!
