Will's a WINNER!Today marks the first 1st place trophy for Will in a Southeastern Junior Golf Tour tournament!! He played in the Stonebrook Junior Classic in Pace, Florida on Saturday and Sunday. After posting an impressive 73 on Saturday, he was leading by one stroke; he shot the same score on Sunday, but ended up in a playoff for first place. A birdie on the playoff hole sealed the deal!
The write-up (and picture) should be on the home page of www.sjgt.com by the time you are reading this. That finish put Will in third place overall for the year in points standings in the SJGT out of 168 boys in his age group (16-18), and secured him an invitation to the SJGT Tournament of Champions in Tallahassee, Florida next weekend.
CONGRATULATIONS WILL!!! We are so proud of you!

No 73 though, I´m afraid...(76) :)
That is so awesome ! We are so proud of you, Will. Your hard work practicing paid off. We were in a restaurant in Mississippi when we got the news and just about shut the place down screaming and clapping. You know how to make a grandmom proud!
Great job Will. Keep it up and maybe one day you can beat your dad and your uncle. LOL
