State High School Golf Tournament

FPHS was runner-up again this year for the 5A State High School Golf Title behind UMS Wright of Mobile. The boys shot an impressive 304 the first day of competition and were trailing UMS by only 3 shots. Hoping to make it up on the second day, our team posted an incredible 294 but the competition came in with a record-winning score of 288.
However, with two wins, and several other great finishes, our team had a winning and wonderful season. Congratulations boys!
I will miss high school golf trips as much as any of these boys. We had a lot of laughs and a lot of fun times. I'm so blessed that I was able to go with them and be a part of this fun time in their life.

I will miss high school golf too but am already looking forward to watching Will achieve great things in golf for the Auburn Tigers!

Good luck, Will!
